Welcome

ACTL (Advanced Core Training in Linguistics) is a generic training program for PhD students in Linguistics.

ACTL was founded in 2004 with a two-year start-up grant from the AHRC, but is now jointly funded by 7 institutions in the UK: University of Cambridge, University of Edinburgh, University of Newcastle, University of Oxford, Queen Mary University of London, UCL, and University of York. The financial support of these institutions is hereby gratefully acknowledged.

The ACTL Summer School is organised by Dr Nino Grillo and Dr Shayne Sloggett in York.
